Qualsafe Level 3 First Response Emergency Care (FREC3)

The Qualsafe Level 3 First Response Emergency Care Course is an advanced pre-hospital emergency care qualification designed for those who may be required to provide immediate care in high-risk or emergency situations.  

This intensive course equips learners with the skills and confidence to manage serious illness and injury until advanced medical support arrives, making it ideal for professional responders and experienced first aiders. 

This First Response Emergency Care Level 3 course goes beyond standard first aid training, focusing on systematic casualty assessment and emergency medical management. 

Learners will gain practical experience in:

• Scene safety and incident management
• Patient assessment and primary survey
• Airway management and breathing emergencies
• CPR and the use of an AED
• Catastrophic bleeding and shock management
• Trauma injuries including head, spinal chest and limb injuries
• Medical emergencies such as asthma, anaphylaxis, seizures and cardiac conditions
• Infection prevention and control
• Communication, handover and documentation

Training is practical, scenario-based, and aligned with current UK pre-hospital emergency care standards.
