QA LEVEL 3 AWARD IN PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID (RQF)
ABOUT
This QA qualification is for people who work with or look after children, enabling them to have a basic knowledge of how to deal with paediatric first aid situations which can arise when looking after children.
It should enable you to attain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of Paediatric situations when looking after children.
You should be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt, effective first aid in emergency situations with an understanding of the role of first aider.
LOCATION
Your course will be held near Shelve, Shrewsbury. The address will be given to you in your joining instructions.
DURATION
2 days
ASSESSMENT
There are both practical and written assessments during the course that all need to be completed to pass.
Once all assessments have been completed satisfactorily you will receive a certificate to formalise your qualification and will remain valid for 3 years.
PRE REQUESITES
You must be 14 years or older on the first day of the course
YOUR TRAINER
Your will receive training from one of our highly qualified and skilled trainers. They have a wide range of experience both in the classroom and in prehospital care in settings such as the ambulance service, search and rescue and the military so they know their subject. You can look forward to fun and enjoyable sessions that will leave you enthused about the subject and feeling confident to practice your new skills in real life situations.

We also know that first aid and health and safety courses can sometimes be a bit dry. We wanted to be something different and engage with our learners leaving them enthused and excited about the qualifications they have just gained.
